ILO MLC

Maritime Labour Convention 2006 will enter into force on the 20th day of August, 2013. This Convention is aimed to improve working conditions of seafarers and to protect their social rights. Martime Labour Convention will become the fourth Convention together with SOLAS, MARPOL & STCW that will be the foundational one in IMO maritime legislation.
